    The Man and The Plan

I do apologize for disappearing for longer than anticipated, but we lost a loving family pet yesterday. Some may feel I should take some time to grieve, but writing helps me deal with our loss.

Now for some background on the man who came up with the idea for this Advertising Company. Clicking on the links below will give you his name, but for now I'll call him "K".

He's a family man who was always looking for a way to financial freedom. He actually found it with a MLM company. He and his wife did very well with the MLM system which consists of recruiting new members who wanted to duplicate their success.

They had new people join the MLM that wanted a good cashflow immediately so they insisted on spending thousands of dollars on new members kits and products right off the bat. Their sponsors would suggest the "newbies" test the waters for a bit before jumping in with both feet but the enthusiasm for the new opportunity was simply too much to contain.

After a few months, most of the new MLM weren't seeing the results they'd hoped for. But isn't that the truth for 95% of us who try MLM? It always looks so easy but just doesn't work for us.

Well after months and months of seeing dreams crushed, "K" decided to develop his own website and training system for the MLM. This was one way he thought it was fairer and more realistic for those he sponsored to succeed as he had. But the head honchos for the MLM Company put a stop to that immediately. When they were asked by "K" why he couldn't use his own site and training material, they responded that only "official" materials could be used.

When "K" complained that way too many of the Independant Business Owners were failing using the "official" materials, they reply was "It's all just a numbers game. The few that do succeed will make up for the dozens that don't".

That didn't sit well with "K". So he started thinking of a business where NOBODY fails. Was it actually possible to create a system where everyone is equal? Where no recruiting is required to earn a good living? Where minimum time away from the family is required but financial freedom is very achievable? And IF he could create such a business plan, what would the product be?

It took several months of thinking before "K" awoke in the middle of the night and went to the "drawing board" to write down what had come to him in his sleep. Today, we have that business plan and many ordinary people are earning very good livings in just 30 minutes a week.

The product "K" was searching for came a bit later. It's Advertising, an $18 Billion a year industry.

The Plan: affiliates join our Advertising Company and purchase advertising at a discount. Then they are PAID to read ads - both from other affiliates and from retailers. Pure Genius!

Something where everyone wins and absolutely nobody loses. And a proven three-year track record of payments. In fact, over $91 MILLION has been paid to our affiliates in the last 20 months!

I Just KNEW You'd Say I Have To Recruit to Get Paid!!

And a good day to you all.

I just found out today I will be taking a much needed mini-holiday next week so there will be 5 days with no postings. If you can take it, so can I!

The last two days I've been going over the affiliate requirements for this opportunity.

    Again, they are:
    1) purchase and use your EPC
    2) read ads for a minimum 30 minutes weekly
    3) promote in a responsible and professional manner

Number three is our focus today.

First, let me state that there is a huge difference between being required to promote and being required to sponsor or recruit.

Many, many home businesses run with the MLM mentality: you can earn a bit with your own work, but you earn way more by recruiters others to do what you do.

This, my friends, is why 95% of the folks who join MLM fail. Simply not everyone is a "salesperson" and aren't comfortable pushing their business down the throat of every person they know. Believe me, I know quite a few people who could sell ice to Eskimos, but I am NOT one of them!

I have tried several MLM. The most popular was (okay this is tough for me to admit publicly) Amway! Hey I had no trouble using the products. But it was the pressure every week to phone every single person I knew and drag them to a meeting. AAAHHHH! I couldn't do it!

Then there was all the "training materials" they wanted me to purchase every week which wasn't much more than positive attitude, positive thinking yada yada yada. I know it couldn't hurt to read these types of things, but I joined to MAKE money - not keep dishing it out every week for things I couldn't afford. And I understood that just selling the products could only profit me a limited amount, and recruiting really was the way to make a bundle like the happy couples pictured in the monthly magazine. Funny they never told me about the thousands of distributors before me who had given up because it just wasn't working for them.

As our owner, Kim Inman, says "It's all a numbers game". You recruit dozens and hope just ONE is a natural salesperson who can build your downline for you. All the others?? It's a numbers game! They lose their investment and they lose their dream.

Well it's that "numbers game" that caused Kim to quit his MLM company where he was extremely successful. He was making good money for his family, but the thought of recruiting others under the assumption they could do just as good as he had, well it saddened him. He didn't want to be part of something where only a lucky few could reap financial rewards. Thus, a new company with a new vision was born.

So, getting back to the difference between promoting and recruiting (I got a bit off-track there!). WE DO NOT REQUIRE ANY SPONSORING IN ORDER TO GET PAID! There, I said it.
As I strongly stated two days ago, this is an advertising business. We get paid to read ads. NOT to sponsor others.

And this is truly a people helping people business. We promote in hopes of helping others - not because we hope to get rich off of them.

Yes everytime a new affiliate joins it benefits the sponsor, but it's indirectly. If John sponsors Joan, it benefits Sue and Mark and Sam and Mike and Nick and Joan and every other of our 20,000+ affiliates. THAT is the true beauty of YMMSS. Every single one of our affiliates gets paid and it has nothing to do with their ability to recruit! It has everything to do with their commitment to read ads.

So why do we require promotion? To benefit the entire affiliation.

What kind of promotion are we talking about? Newspaper ads? Bulk emails? Radio commercials? Flyers? SPAM? None of the above. Or all of the above - minus the SPAM of course. In fact, we have one of the strictest anti-SPAM policies I've ever come across on the internet (which is why I don't mention the company name on my blog).

If you want to go whole-hog and market online and offline like it's going out of style, have a party!

If you have come to the conclusion that you are not a natural-born salesperson and aren't comfortable "sharing" with others, that fine too. You don't need to tell anyone about your new business until you start getting paid. Then I guarantee you'll want to tell the world that you finally found something that does what it's supposed to do!

Promoting can be making business cards and having a few handy when you meet people. Promoting can be saying "Hey cousin Martha, I got paid $150 last week for reading ads. Interested?" Promoting can be a company license plate cover on your car. Promoting can be wearing your company ballcap or T-shirt. Promoting can be shelling out personalized candy bars at Halloween (sorry I had to plug my other business here!). Promoting can be playing golf at http://www.myymgolf.com and talking with other golfers. Promoting can be telling other auction fans about our YMMSS auction site. Promoting can be creating a Blog like this one!

As you can see, there are NO cold-calls or pestering methods mentioned here. Promoting doesn't have to be uncomfortable for anyone. Just do what is within YOUR comfort level and do it with a smile on your face. And remember that every single affiliate that you bring into this business will thank you!

    Blessings,
    Vicki

But I Have NOTHING To Advertise!

When someone signs up for this opportunity as an affiliate, they have three responsibilities to meet in order to receive commission payments:

    1) purchase and use EPC in a timely manner
    2) read affiliate and retail ads for a minimum of 30 minutes weekly
    3) promote the business in a professional and responsible manner

Today, I'm going to go over #1 - the purchase and use of EPC (electronic posting credits).

When we join, we pay a one-time registration fee of $10.65 and must purchase a minimum of one EPC for another $10.65 for a grand total of $21.30. After that, any additional advertising purchases are strictly up to the affiliate. Of course, additional purchases of EPC means more advertising opportunities and more paying positions so most affiliate purchase on a regular basis: monthly, weekly and even daily. The more positions we have, the more we earn in commissions. Some members have 500 positions or more. Right now, I have about 175 positions and counting. In fact, I'll be increasing that by ten later tonight.

Now with all those EPC, I have some serious advertising space available to me. Luckily I have another home business that I advertise. But I get asked by many affiliates "How do I use my EPC when I have nothing to advertise?"

    Good question!

Now when we are told to use our EPC "in a timely manner", we are talking about one year from the time of purchase. That's quite a bit of time if you want to build up your EPC until you are able to post on a more valuable board. Some people aren't happy with the "general list" so they save EPC until they can post on the "silver list" or "gold list". That is perfectly acceptable. There is a "platinum list" as well which will post your ad for 52 weeks. Most certainly the best value for your dollar.

Currently, there are about 25 categories for placing ads. There is everything from agriculture to announcements to auctions to books to collectibles to real estate to travel to pets.

If you wish to have an "online garage sale", our Ad Forums is a great place to sell most anything.

The announcements category is very popular as well. Wish someone special a Happy Birthday or Congratulations or other well wishes for thousands to see. Announce a new baby in the family or an upcoming wedding. Anything you'd like the world to know about!

You can certainly use your EPC to advertise your favorite charity, church event or community project. It's a great way to gain exposure for any organization that's near and dear to your heart.

If you have a recipe that you'd like to share, we even have a Cooking and Recipes category. Use your EPC to share a family favorite with other cooking enthusiasts.

Have you taken a special vacation trip and you'd like to tell us about your experience? We have a Travel category just for you.

How about a local business that you felt went out of their way for you? Do them a favor by giving them a little plug on our Ad Forum. Whether your hair dresser did an excellent job or a mechanic provided exceptional service or a restaurant served you the best lasagne you've ever tasted, we'd all appreciate reading about it.

In other words, it's not difficult at all to use your EPC.

But there are other options. How about "selling" your EPC to a business? Simply explain to them you have the opportunity to advertise to 20,000+ internet purchasers. You can set your price for your EPC and place the ad for them. An excellent opportunity to create another income stream.

Of you can transfer your EPC to another affiliate. Occasionally, there are ads posted asking for EPC donations. Some may be for charity purposes. Some may be for business ads. Some affiliates may be willing to pay for EPC as well. Again, another income stream. We even have our own auction site where you can auction off your EPC.

Well I think I've covered pretty well every way to use your EPC. Something for everyone!Tomorrow, I'll cover 30 minutes of ad reading.

My Own Experience as an Affiliate

While this business offers a unique and profitable opportunity for large retail advertisers, it also offers an incredible income building opportunity to it's affiliates. Here is my story:

I discovered this opportunity in August 2003 and joined a month later after performing my due diligence and seeing there wasn't a single negative comment anywhere on the internet from a member or past member. In fact, I soon learned there were NO past members because nobody had quit!

Like many new members, I started small until I gained more confidence in the business. Having access to the owner really helped build my confidence as well when so many "program admins" remain anonymous. Also spending time in the Bulletin Board and the live chat room allowed me to meet, or read about very satisfied people. This appeared to be the business for me!

I am not getting paid regularly. And I am building my business continuously by purchasing advertising almost daily. I even sponsored my parents last summer as a Mothers Day/Fathers Day gift, and they will finally be able to quit the rat-race in 2005!

The company has introduced a new payment schedule for it's affiliates effective October 2005 that will pay weekly. I am so excited about this change as my smaller positions will grow every 90 days, and then pay me weekly. So literally, a $10 purchase will pay me thousands over my lifetime! This is income I will be able to pass down to my children.

Almost daily, I feel the need to pinch myself as I still can't believe how easy it has been to create this income for myself and my family. Over the last 10 years, I've tried several online and offline MLM businesses, gifting programs, gold games, investments, doublers and anything else that promised riches beyond my wildest dreams. This is the ONLY business that has lived up to my expectations - and beyond. All while only working about 2 hours a week (the minimum time requirement is just 30 minutes weekly)! How can you beat that?

Still skeptical? That's understandable. But let me reassure you that this company has been paying it's affiliates steadily for OVER three years - which is almost unheard of in the world of internet business opportunities. We host four online conferences weekly where the business plan is fully explained. We also have a bulletin board for information and inquiries. Or ask your questions here. Or email me.

    That's all for today.

    Blessings,
    Vicki

    The Next Generation of Advertising

    WELCOME to my Blog!

There's a word I only heard of about 3 months ago. Now I'm creating my own!?!

I wanted to talk about advertising in today's posting. There are very few places we can go today where we aren't bombarded with advertising of some kind. For example, I was out doing errands today and here is what I noticed just in an hour or so:

    - bus shelters/benches have ads (even buses have ads - inside and outside!)
    - vehicles are detailed and used as mobile ads
    - billboards
    - temporary signs outside businesses such as the local vet clinic and chocolate shop (mmmmm!)
    - taxi cabs rent ad space
    - home-made signs on the side of the road for "we buy houses" and "lawn mowing" etc.
    - a flyer left on my van at the shopping mall (I don't like this method as it creates litter)
    - of course the obvious - commercials as I listened to the radio
    - ads in my daily newspaper
    - a recorded message telling me all about services offered by a business while I am "on hold" waiting for customer service
and it could go on and on and on ...

The three biggies, the big kahunas, for advertising have always been television, print, and radio.

BUT the tides are turning. Advertisers are looking beyond the three staples as their advertising dollar is not as profitable as it used to be using these three advertising mediums.

More and more advertisers are turning towards the "information highway" with a significant portion of their advertising budget. No I'm not talking about cheesy methods such as bulk emails or pop-up ads which do nothing but turn your potential customer off. I am talking about the ability to advertise to your target audience - who is also now a WILLING audience! A group of people, thousands strong, who WANT to view ads.

Okay, so why would a huge group want to spend their valuable time looking at advertising? I mean, this is the day of using the remote to change channels or "mute" when commercials are on. Today, we have hundreds of satellite channels that offer commercial-free viewing (and listening for those who prefer music). The public is doing what they can to avoid advertisements. Why is this different?

I'll tell you. Because our affiliates are PAID (quite well!) to view ads.

    Simple.

So it's a fantastic win/win proposition. The advertisers win because their ads aren't avoided or ignored. The affiliates win because they are being paid weekly for just 30 minutes of their time weekly.

If you'd like more information as an affiliate or as an advertiser, simply go to

    See you folks tomorrow!
